Tour Season Will Re-open in May 2021
Details and FAQ below.
Disclaimer:
We are not a petting zoo. Many of our animals are here because they were unwanted, neglected, abused or seized by the SPCA. Some animals enjoy human company and others do not which we expect to be respected. Please do not touch any of the animals, unless instructed to do so, as many can bite and cause injury.
The tours will include discussion about our current industrialised farming practices along with interaction with the animals who are comfortable with humans. Plan to spend at least 1 to 2 hours at the sanctuary.
All visitors will be expected to sign a liability form prior to entry to the Sanctuary. Any children accompanying you must have the liability form signed by their legal guardian if they are not in attendance.
Please ensure you do not have any food on your person and any water you bring must be in a stainless steal or plastic container.
Children are welcome but they must be well behaved and listen to instructions. No running, chasing or yelling is permitted as it scares the animals. Small children may need to be carried when interacting with some of the animals. Young children will not be able to go into the pens for their and the animals safety.
