Starting in May 2018!
The tours will begin with a brief presentation about our current industrialised farming practices followed by interacting with the animals. Plan to spend at least an hour at the sanctuary.
Our organisation is run completely by donation. Our suggested minimum donation, for the tour, is $20 per person.
No Hand Feeding
You are welcome to bring our animals healthy treats but they can not be fed by hand - some of our residents get a little eager when food comes around and they might nip your fingers. Please remember to keep your pockets treat free as well.
What to Wear
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Closed toe shoes
- Rubber boots, are suggested, if it's raining out
Children are welcome but they must be well behaved and listen to instructions. No running, chasing or yelling is permitted as it scares the animals. Strollers are not permitted as they frighten the animals and small children may need to be carried when interacting with some of the animals. Young children will not be able to go into the pens for their and the animals safety.
